This is a great book if you want more than a simple explanation of Present Moment Awareness or mindfulness. It offers a friendly way to both learn and experience concepts that are difficult to describe and that can otherwise seem foreign. The author, Shannon Duncan, breaks the process of learning Present Moment Awareness into four phases and does the same with the book. One may take the book at whatever pace is comfortable and then keep it as a reference or companion in the journey to mindfulness.
